BYE – BUILD YOUR ENGLISH
The BUILD YOUR ENGLISH project aims to improve the communication skills of the actors of the construction process, especially among young people at the beginning of their professional careers.
The "BUILD YOUR ENGLISH" idea
Globalization has highlighted the importance of communication between key actors of the construction sector. This became even more evident with the emergence of the European open labour market, and the fact that many European construction companies operate in foreign countries.
Developing the language skills of students, graduates of construction schools and construction workers enables the development of their professional skills and makes their daily work smoother.
The objectives of "BUILD YOUR ENGLISH"

To create a suitable training methodology, including pictures, voice, animations and 3D graphics to support the use of the software

To create a computer application/software, that enables users to self-learn technical English

To improve technical English skills for communication in construction sites and everyday work

To improve Health and Safety performance with improved communication between construction staff

To improve labor mobility within the European Union

Indirect results include the improvement of the labor force in the short term, and the increase of the number of skilled workers employed in the sector in the medium and long term.
